- Lacking character
- I should have known better, just looking at the song titles. Any album that contains songs called "Angel" should be approached with skepticism and caution.
And the record does indeed hold many "when you need a shelter from the rain/when you need a healer for your pain, here I am" kind of songs. So if you are into uber-cheesy, you will most certainly enjoy this record.
For the rest of us, who welcomed Christina's and 'Mimi's "emancipations", seeing them grow from warbling the standard pop ballad to artists who abundantly express themselves through their music, popular or not - we will have to wait a while longer.
I do hope that Leona will eventually find her own authentic style and get away from those who think that her impressive range needs to be FULLY exhibited in EACH and EVERY song - and that this alone makes good music. - 2008-06-30, 3 of 4 people found this review helpful, Rated:

- I recommand her songs to anyone I heard one song from her and Loved it so got the CD and I love them all and now my Daughters are Borrowing it and I miss it a lot not sure when I get it back LOL :)

- Not as good as expected
- Beautiful voices don't make the whole package. There is no attitude in her performance. It all seems routine with songs that sound like all the one's that are out already. Too safe!! Too boring!!
