- Great features, horrible battery life
- The range and features on these radios are top notch, but the batteries are underpowered to the point of ridiculousness. We took these cross country so my wife and I could stay in touch in separate vehicles, but a few days into the trip we realized that, even fully charged at night, the radios only last a few hours at max. We ended up having to stop and get car power chargers, but even that idea didn't work as you couldn't use the radio as it was charging. These are going to our kids to play with and we'll be looking for better ones in the future.

- Good for the money
- These work very well for my purposes. Just got it to send the little one to the park and keep track of him. Works great for this purpose and was cheper than most of the others I have seen. Yellow which I like. I have seen several of these which are camo, if you drop them you might lose them not a good thing if you want it to keep tabs on a little one. They have sturdy construction and are pretty simple to operate. Definately worth the money.

- Terrific Walkie Talkies
- Sturdy and well made for my kids to use. No problem with signal and range anywhere in our neighborhood. My daughter dropped one in a mug of tea which we thought would be the end of it -- but it worked fine after drying out. Terrific!

- The two sets of UNIDEN two-way radios I purchaed arrived promptly and work as advertised, no problems were encountered in the purchase.

- A finely made product. Solid performance at an outstanding price. I use the family radio frequencies and have experienced clear voice transmission. The sub codes give the opportunity to avoid unwanted transmissions. The units are also well constructed and easy to handle. The dual charger is a plus. You probably couldn't do better than the GMR 1838 in this price range.
