it's a wheel. it hasn't broken yet: I think the wheel makes Mario Kart Wii a bit more fun but if you are strapped for cash, it is definitely not a necessity. More reviews

My kids love it but....: I really find it easier to race MarioKart by just holding the remote sideways. Don't see any appreciable difference in racing by having the remote in the wheel but, like I said, my kids love to use it. More reviews

Wii wheel is useless: - It is harder playing a car racing game using the Wii wheel rather than using the buttons.
- The fact that it can move anywhere in space (up-down, front-back, etc) makes it NOT really like a car steering wheel, making it unintuitive.
