- Beautiful Picture!
- This TV is awesome! The factory settings look excellent to my eyes and I haven't done any fine tuning yet. This is my first HDtv and watching HD programming amazes me every time. I have watched the US Open and some Monday Night Football and this tv blows me away. Now all I've got to do is get a Blu Ray player and I'm set!

- Excellent TV . . . Sharp, Detailed Picture . . . Easy to Mount
- I replaced a 56-inch Toshiba DLP rear projection set with this 46-inch LCD model from Samsung. At first, I was a little hesitant to drop my screen size 10 inches, and was even MORE hesitant about mounting such a large TV on my living room wall.
After a few weeks of research including trips to various electronics stores, reading reviews on CNET, Consumer Reports, and others, I learned that Samsung is moving to the forefront of the LCD industry, and I can definitely see why. After purchasing the TV and getting it up on the wall, I can't believe I didn't do this sooner.
The picture on the 650 model is amazing, even compared to my old DLP set (which had a pretty fantastic picture in its own right). To me, the most important facet of a TV's picture is the sharpness of an image (i.e. how rich and true its black levels are, and how crisp and defined images look). In this price range, I haven't seen another TV that even comes close to the image quality on the 650. High-definition programs in 1080i look amazing. Blu-ray movies and Playstation 3 games in 1080p will absolutely blow your mind.
The 120Hz processing feature makes sports come to life. The "blurred ball" effect is virtually removed, and every replay seems to come to life because it's so smooth. In fact, the 120 Hz processing is SO effective, that I have to turn it off during movies and TV shows, because it makes the picture look TOO realistic, and can make pre-recorded film look like live live-action TV video.
As far as mounting the TV, getting it connected and all that other stuff . . . . . piece of cake. Plenty of outputs (even I can't fill 4 HDMI). For true videophiles, there are a number of different options to fine-tune the picture quality. On-screen menus and the remote are a breeze to navigate.
I was a little worried about the red accents along the outer edge of the TV, but in all honesty, you don't even notice them unless the TV is getting direct sunlight. At night, or with the blinds closed, you can barely even tell the red accent is there.
I can't recommend this TV enough. If you're looking to make that next jump into HDTV, don't look anywhere else but Samsung and Sony. And, as far as value goes, the best bang for the buck is right here with Samsung's 650 series. - 2008-09-23, 2 of 2 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Great TV.
- Great picture. I had read most of the reviews and have looked for all of the problems which some had described. Guess I am lucky for I haven't had any of their problems. It is just relaxing to sit back and watch a good clear picture. I have surround sound attached and several other goodies all work great. I have recommended this particular model to several friends and of course they have visited and all agree. The 120hz is going to be the coming thing so be patient and ready when it comes.

- Incredible Picture, Read the reviews and they were right !!!
- I recently ordered the Samsung 46 " from Amazon. First of all the shipping was unbelievably fast. Got it in 4 days. But the impressive part is the color and detail in this tv. We were recently watching the LSU Auburn game this past saturday and everyone there was commenting about how impressive the picture quality is. Even my wife is impressed at the detail and color that this tv produces. I was skeptical and wanted a Sony to start out and once I started checking out the reviews...for the money I wanted to spend...This was the tv that won me over and it's still winning me every time I power it up.

- THE BEST TV IN THE MARKET!
- I bought this TV through Amazon.com and was delivered by CEVA 9 days after order was placed. CEVA took it out of the box, put it in my TV stand and turned it on. I was told to call them if there's anything wrong with the TV during the 30-day period and that they will pick it up free of charge.
This TV is much, much better than any plasma or LCD TV in the market. Don't pay attention to these TV critics who gave it so-so or even bad reviews - they're just trying to appear knowledgeable and important. I've had it for 2 weeks and I'm still in love with it. My recommendation: get a blu-ray player and use HDMI cables - you'll appreciate how great this tv much, much more. - 2008-09-22, 1 of 1 people found this review helpful, Rated:
