- Very good picture but sound could be a little better
- The picture quality in standard and HD is fantastic looking straight at the screen. However, at 45 degrees - i.e. looking from a loveseat on the side - the picture washes out to just acceptable. The new Panasonic LCD's and all plasma do not have this problem. Sound quality is acceptable but not great. The set should have contained a subwoofer. There is no excuse for this omission as smaller and cheaper sets have better sound.

- AWESOME PICTURE, GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY
- ORDERED THIS SET ON A SATURDAY AND RECEIVED IT ON A TUESDAY, GREAT DELIVERY TIME FRAME. THE PICTURE IS AWSOME AND ALL THE FEATURES ARE VERY EASY TO USE AFTER A LITTLE PRACTICE. I THOUGHT LIVE BROADCASTS WERE GOING TO BE REALISTIC, BUT LET ME TELL YOU, THE OTHER PROGRAMING IS JUST AS GOOD IN HD. REGULAR BRODCASTING IS ALSO GOOD, BETTER THAN ALOT OF OTHER MODELS FROM COMPETITORS. BROUGHT AT ONE PRICE A WEEK LATER PRICE WAS REDUCED, E-MAILED AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GOT A PRICE REDUCTION REFUND, CAN'T GO WRONG WITH AMAZON.COM. IT'S PICTURE IS AS GOOD AS SONY'S XBR SERIES, YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG WITH THIS HDTV.

- Great TV...Excellent Service
- Received my Samsung 46" HDTV from Amazon. I confess I have never spent that much money over the internet. I was a little apprehensive to order something of that much value, but saving $500 with Amazon over Circuit City or Best Buy convinced me to buy from Amazon. For those that may be a little fearful, don't worry. My experience was great. I ordered the TV on Tuesday and it was delievered on Friday, talk about fast shipping. Plus, the shipping was FREE, and I paid no tax. I am in the prcess of buying another HDTV for my bedroom. I'll have no problem ordering from Amazon. I highly recommend the Samusng TV as well. Great picture & sound. I had been comparing TV's for about 3 months. Could not have bought a better choice.

- A great HDTV
- I use Comcast cable and can scan to watch DTV channels. The pictures are great. The delivery was scheduled on my expected day and they set up everything (TV & clean up) for you. The color is wonderful and the TV is easy to operate. After a month, I didn't find any problem. I connected the TV to the Bose sound system. The sound effect is really perfect. I am really satisfied with this product & the price.

- Remote Codes
- This TV is beautiful and has lots of inputs and features. The room it is in is not bright and it is impossible to see the labels or the buttons of the controls on the TV (eg Vol CH source etc.) I had to attach little stickers on them to know where to push.
I want to pgm this TV's control codes into the remote for the satellite box, but the manual doesn't provide any codes. Has anyone figured out what codes are needed to control this TV from a third party remote? The included remote is dedicated to this TV only - so you will want to use the DVD remote or the set-top-box remote to control it and will need the answer to this question, as I do.
