Amazing Television
I've had this television a few weeks now and I can't believe the difference in picture quality from the HD set it's replacing. The picture size and quality make you feel as if you are a part of the scene. I would recommend this TV to anyone considering purchasing a large screen LCD TV. On another note, the price was appox $600.00 less than Best Buy and no sales tax!

Awesome TV...
This is an awesome TV! We were hesitant to get it because it said it has a "red" trim. It has such great reviews from Consumer Reports and everywhere else we read we decided to go for it. Thankfully it isn't a striking red... it's very subtle - the red doesn't stick out like I thought it would.
Great picture!!!!

Awesome TV and great delivery service
I ordered this TV based on the reviews at Amazon and CNET. Delivery was super quick, I ordered it on Sat, shipped on Monday and I could have got it on the Wed but I requested for a delivery on Friday. Two guys carried it inside and took it down two flight of stairs to my basement. However, they did not wait before I could check if the TV was working. I would rate the White glove delivery pretty good considering they did not charge me extra for delivering it to the basement. One other internet vendor quoted ~300 dollars for delivering it to the basement :-)
The TV indeed is a thing of beauty. I have connected the dish network receiver and the pioneer dvd player using component cables through a Harmon Kardon receiver. HD channels picture quality is awesome so I would assume anything fed to the TV with atleast a 720P resolution would look great. I even used a USB drive to view photos, again loved the way they were displayed and the slideshow functionality. I wish I had opted for the A750 that includes the mpeg functionality through the USB. :-)
The only problem that I have faced so far is when I connected the pioneer dvd player, the menu and the initial startup image was not displayed immediately and the message 'Mode not supported' was displayed. However, when I hit play, the movie came on and then I could activate the menu. Weird but probably has something to do with resolution incompatibility.
Cannot wait to wall mount and conceal the wiring now :-))
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a 52". Cannot go wrong here...
5 stars for delivery by CEVA/Eagle, Amazon for the unbeatable price and Samsung for the production quality.

Perfect quality and service from Amazon
Let me begin by saying I am not a gamer. I am a regular ol' TV watchin' gal.
Wonderful TV. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
Picture is beautiful. I've never seen anything more crisp and real.
Sound is great. I like the sound bar on the side instead of at the bottom of the screen.
Doesn't come with HDMI cables, but DirecTV (if you plan on getting it) will provide.
I wish I could rate Amazon's service. I'd give it a million stars. The white glove service was spot on. The CEVA guy arrived and did exactly as stated, hooked everything up and removed all evidence that the TV arrived that day. He left me with a remote and a manual. No plastic, no boxes, none of that. He was friendly and polite. I inspected it for "obvious damage," which is what is required and signed the delivery slip and off he went.
Later that night I noticed small scratches and gouges (through the metal and plastic) on the rear/side upper left corner of the TV. I immediately called Amazon. Because it was late on a Friday night, I had to wait until Monday morning to speak with someone in the "TV department." Instead of waiting for them to call, I called. They appreciated my quick attention to the matter, asked me a couple questions and then gave me two options: (1) keep the tv and accept a discount for purchasing a slightly damaged one or (2) get a perfect new one.
I chose (2). Within 24 hours, they shipped a new TV to me. When it arrived, the CEVA guy took the old one and replaced it with the new one. Once again, completely professional and it was like you never knew he was there.
I would highly recommend using Amazon simply because of the service (without regard to their low price--the lowest I've found anywhere).
I'll buy all my large/expensive electronics from Amazon from now on.

mounted memories a joke
I just ordered the Samsung 650 lcd 52" tv. It has not arrived yet, but I thought I would go ahead and check out what I could get with the $200 gift cert. at Mounted Memories. Please be advised that the site is a Joke. I literally clicked on a hundred items they had for sale and on every one from the Indianapolis Colts to Bill Elliott it said "We no longer carry this item." I tried to find a single Item ranging from $70 to $7000 and never found one single item they offered. Don't count on anything from this supposable offer.
