- left us speechless
- I focus on the style as much as picture quality. We bought a samsung 40''LCD a year ago.LN-S4052D 40" beautiful white, the design was inspired by red wine glass. Both appearance and picture quality are fantasic. Color contrast Ratio is 4000:1, the highest at the time.
Then we bought this one last week. We are speechless because it's even much better that the "Fantasic one", so can not find words to describe. Some might not agree, I do like the black crystal style panel.
This is the perfect TV should look like. - 2008-05-09, 1 of 2 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Great looking HDTV
- I compared this model today at BB which was right next to the Sony 52w3000. Both were running on the same feed as was all the others. I think that the two were almost exactly the same in picture quality. Both were beautiful to look at. I might even give the Samsung a slight plus on color.
I am now waiting on the Sony 52w4100 to compare with before jumping on the wagon. - 2008-05-08, 0 of 4 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Great HD Set, Do the Upgrade
- Our Samsung LN52A650 HDTV worked great without issues right out of the box. The clarity is phenomenal but the sound is "ok". The TV has plenty of AV inputs including 3 HDMI inputs, plus USB and ethernet connectivity if desired. We were a bit skeptical with the spontaneous off and sound popping problems reported in early reviews. We did notice some popping when switching menus in TiVo so we downloaded the latest firmware off the Samsung support site, installed it through the TV's USB port and the popping disappeared. This FW version also corrects the spontaneous off issue. If you like baseball, golf or hockey this is the ticket in HD mode - Every detail, every face in the stands, every blade of grass is incredibly clear with no blurring during high speed action. The unit has been working GREAT for weeks now and we are ecstatic with the picture. The sound, on the other hand, is good enough for viewing but certainly not home theater standards. Overall we are extremely happy. Two thumbs up!

- Best TV out there, latest technology
- I've only had the TV one week now, it looks great on HD channels, I haven't had any problems , setup is quick, intuitive and very easy. Connected it to cable and the QAM tuner found all HD and analog channels. Another cool feature is the connection to Internet router which went without any problems and ....voila, real time news, stock quotes and weather...Absolutely stunning and breathtaking...Full heartedly recommend this TV.

- Spectacular High Def LCD TV
- I've only had the TV two week, but it looks great on HD channels, it's like you're sitting at the game. I haven't really sat down to figure out all of the adjustments, but it still look good the way it is compare to my other TV. I haven't had any problems and would highly recommend this TV, it looks fantastic and it's at a great price compared to any walk-in store.
