- Excellent TV
- I bought the 750 direct from Amazon and got it about 2 weeks ago. The picture is simply wonderful. I did a lot of research on this and it definitely is worth the money. There *is* a halo problem dealing with the bezel but it has been corrected in newer sets and older sets can have it replaced by Samsung. Personally, the small halo on my set is not a problem. I would like to comment on the Amazon "White Glove Delivery". It was CEVA and Eagle who delivered the set. Two guys delivered it and they were pretty amenable to helping me set it up. I had a 277lb Sony tube behemoth, which they took off the stand for me. I couldn't bribe them to take it outside or take it away. They then waited long enough for me to make sure the TV worked with my cable box. So the delivery was fine. To close...let me say again how much we love the picture on this set. We only have a regular DVD player right now but even that looks great. Next purchase....blu-ray!

- We Have had many different TV's in the home, but never one that seems so liftlike. A truely amazing picture. It just feels like your in the same room with the actors and athletes.

- Perfect Television
- This is buy far the best television on the market today until the 9 Series from Samsung comes out. The sound is amazing and now with the Motion Blur feature, LCD's are truly the way to go over plasmas. My only regret is that I didn't buy the 52 inch model.

- Great TV
- I had the TV for two weeks when I couldn't get it to turn on. It would start to flash the red light, music would chime and the turn off. It would then recycle after about 30 seconds until I unplugged it. I called Amazon and found their dial back to work great. Got a representative within a minute or two. They asked me to call Samsung with a number they provided so I did. They set me up with a repair shop. These guys were not close and their time line was going to put me over my 30 day guarantee so I called Amazon and explained what was going on and they offered to extend my offer for a new set or money back until the repairs were done. That rocked!!
The service guys replaced the main circuit board and it's been working perfect. The service guys said that they service many lines of TVs and Samsung was top dog for getting several of the TV parts to them in order to make sure it could be fixed in a single trip. So far I give Amazon and Samsung an A++. It shipped quick and I should note that the shipper can take the boxes, so I was worried about the re boxing if I had to send back. No problem, the shipper boxes it back up for you if it necessary to send the unit back. - 2008-10-21, 1 of 1 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- good while it lasted
- Bought the unit on amazon, and enjoyed it greatly. Beware of two things the glossy surface which will reflect the light from light sources in the room and during the day time off of pretty much anything else in the room. Since the screen is extremely bright that was not a big deal only in the very dark scenes. Note something else, Amazon no longer allows you to get a price adjustment, as of September 1st. This unit went down in price for $200 less then what I paid for it and I was refused to get the refund. The biggest let down was that the unit stopped working all together two weeks into the ownership. It got stock in the loop of switching itself on, and off and had to be unplugged to put it out of its misery.
Because I could not get the price adjusted earlier I decided to send it back for full refund from amazon and since the unit turned out defective they covered the shipping. - 2008-10-21, 2 of 3 people found this review helpful, Rated:
