- great bang for the buck!
- works hand in hand with my new samsung lcd. can operate the dvd player with just the tv remote or vise versa. handles scraches on the dvds very well. doesnt get bound up at all. great dvd player for the $70.00 bucks.

- Outstanding performance for the price. Has the features you need at a price that is affordable. If you are not ready to invest in a blu-ray player and the higher priced discs then this is one to take a look at.

- Alright player, but expensive for the price
- Bought this DVD player to go along with my new Samsung TV. The DVD player works fine but I wish it had a USB port (even cheaper Philips players have them). Playing files in other formats (like divx) is a pain since you now need to burn them on a DVD or CD.
Cons:
1. One of the most irritating features of this player is that if you have a Samsung TV and insert a disc, it turns on the TV. I do not need my TV to listen to music.
2. It takes quite a while to load a disc.

- Great dvd player for the money
- This DVD player performs very well, and is very user friendly. Its especially nice to have a Samsung dvd player with a Samsung tv, (you can use the same remote for either). The HDMI connection helps show off the 120hz on my tv. upconverting regular dvds looks a little better, but not as much as I thought it would; Although, I do hear that my samsung lnt4071 does a pretty good job already on improving the quality even with a regular dvd player. - - OVERALL - - its a solid upconvert dvd player.
