- IZZE made a hit with my entire family with this flavor!
- We have been drinking various forms of flavored carbonated natural drinks for many years. From Knudsens to After the Fall, to Flavored Vitamin Waters without the carbonation, my family has tried all kinds of different flavors and types of carbonated and non-carbonated drinks with no refined sugars added.
IZZE Sparkling Clemintine Juice is made of 70% fruit juice with added vitamins such as B6, Beta Carotene, Niacinimide, and vitamin C. I am not sure what the *natural flavors* added are, as this is often a hiding place for ingredients with some companies that do not want you to know little things they sneak in.
Flavorwise, IZZE Sparkling Clemintine Juice is very good. It is made from concentrate so there is not the fresh flavor that you would get from fresh juice, but I find that this juice only has a tiny bit of bitter edge to it- nothing like most orange flavored juice beverages we have had.
What impresses us about this is that it is not overly syrupy like some juices are. It takes very light, yet filling.
Another feature of this drink is that the bubbles are not heavy and the carbonation is not overly strong. Sometimes drinks have so much carbonation in them that they are annoying. This one has light to medium carbonation in it.
One additional thing I like about this is that the cans are relatively small (8.4oz/248ml). I have never liked the huge can sizes because I feel that you should only drink small amounts of cooked juice products at a time anyway.
There are 24 in the case, which is a good number. We drank this warm without ice, but chilled it is also delicious. It tends to go down a bit easier when it is chilled.
With ice, it is an even lighter drink and bit more refreshing as the ice dilutes it leaving just a hint of orange flavor.
All in all, IZZE Sparkling Clemintine Juice is a hit in our house. Great flavor, just enough in a can for a snack, and all without added refined sugars or caffeine! My daughter keeps saying- "Mom, I just LOVE this stuff." - 2008-04-23, 2 of 2 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Izz good, if not especially good for you....
- The Clementine Izze has a full, orangey flavor and it's not too sweet. A real bonus, imo. The apple is a bit sweet but does taste like a really ripe apple. duh. And for me the grapefruit had a bit of tinny flavor. I'm afraid taste may be a bit relative.

- Refreshing and not sweet!
- This is a very refreshing, slightly tart carbonated drink. It tastes exactly as one would expect. Albeit a bit pricey, the quality of ingredients makes up for it. Whenever I get a craving for a soda pop type drink this definitely takes care of that craving. I plan to order the Black Cherry flavor next.

- Very Sparkling Apple Juice
- I must say, I am an apple juice fan. My usual brand is Very Fine, which is your standard 100% apple juice, nothing fancy. I picked up Izze Sparkling Juice and can honestly say, I really liked it. It is carbonated, is "sparkling", which sets it apart from most other juices.
At first, I wasn't completely taken with the carbonation/sparkling aspect. For one thing, it seemed particularily carbonated. I mean - WOW, bubbly! Once you get passed the inital surprise with a sparkling juice, the flavor really takes over.
Surprisingly, the ingredients listed (in order) are : White Grape, Apple and Lemon Juice.
I guess it's the White Grape and Lemon that give this drink it's little kick of flavor, which pushes it beyond your average apple juice.
Because there is no extra refined sugar added, the calorie and sugar gram count come in below Very Fine, which is a good thing, and importantly, taste is not sacrificed.
On a side note, and really kind of cool, the Izze company is very eco-friendly. Their offices are powered by the wind, they do the "bike to work" thing, and support recycling efforts. - Tastes good without being sugary!
- The first thing I looked at on the IZZE Sparkling Pomegranite was the contents. I was pleased to find NO ADDED SUGAR, no caffeine, and no preservatives! It's 70% pure fruit juices, and comes in 8.4oz cans.
Now, the important part: we don't care if it has added vitamins or no additives if it tastes lousy. But it tastes great! Now if you're used to sugary sweet drinks like Pepsi or Coke, IZZE may not be for you, unless you're ready for a good taste that's sparkling, but not overly sweet.
