pleased, but...: I am very well pleased with the scanner. The duplex function is great and the capability to add several pages to be scanned at the same time is a good feature. I scanned in over 500 old photos in an hour or so and they all came out great. Great scanner... well worth the extra money: I was using a very slow (and old) Canoscan LiDE 30 flatbed on my iMac and decided that the software was too glitchy and the scanner too slow for doing my monthly scanning of receipts for expense reports. Double your Productivity: One of the best pieces of hardware I have bought yet.
It's easy to use, fast, and makes creating PDFs a snap (no pun intended).
Another excellent feature is it's integration with other products like ReceiptWallet (scan and track receipts) YEP and, my new favorite, DEVONthink Pro.

SnapScan is a Snap: This little powerhouse is the best scanner I have ever used. Setup was a breeze and I was off and running taking a stack of paperwork and clearing it from my desk.
