Great Entry Level Golf GPS
I wanted a GPS device so I could stop pacing off yardages on the course and have an enjoyable game and make correct club selections. I compared quite a few and wanted a entry level GPS, certainly Igolf Neo fits the bill.
Pros:
1. Great entry-level price.
2. You don't know it's in your pocket.
3. Fast downloads to sync courses to handheld device.
4. Lowers your handicap by making accurate club selections on GPS distances.
5. Igolf website user friendly.
6. 20 channels
Cons:
1. Only holds 8 courses on the Neo.
2. Lots of ghost readings, 9999 to front of green.
3. Discrepancies in distances to front, back, middle of greens.
4. Buttons hard to push.
5. Annual membership fees.
Overall, I recommend the Neo to anyone wanting an entry-level golf dedicated GPS device. Price is great, information is easy to read and user friendly. I will look to upgrade to either Golf Buddy or Golf Guru. I don't want to pay annual memberships and simply want more golf game management information.

Know your yardage
Great - easy to use - takes out the guess work for yardage. no longer have rhe need to serach for yardage markers. Have yet to use all the other features. Down loading courses is a snap as it is to load the iGolf neo. Battey life good for 4 18 hole rounds.

All a mid-handicapper really needs
I looked long and hard at all of the GPS options out there before deciding on the neo. It turns out I made the right choice. The neo does everything I need it do do. Distance to front, center, and back is very easy to read, and makes it very simple to figure a yardage to the pin within 1-2 yards. The shot distance feature is very easy to use as well. I was a little worried about it not advancing automatically to the next hole, but I have just gotten into the habit of clicking the button when walking off the green.
The size is fantastic. It easily fits in my front pocket without me even noticing it. If you don't want it in your pocket, I would suggest either buying the leather case, or picking up a cheap cell phone case to keep it on your belt. The clip is junk for anyone with any type of a gut as the unit falls out pretty easily when bumped. This is the only thing I can really speak negatively about.
The software is easy to figure out. It may not be extraordinarily sleek, but is highly functional. One of the appeals of this unit was that you pay for 100 courses one time, then they are yours. No annual subscription fee to pay like golflogix or skycaddie. What a rip-off. For the Garmin in my wife's car, we download a map update and it is ours for all time. I see no reason golf courses should be any different. That was probably the biggest deciding factor between the neo and the Garmin for me.
Battery life has been fantastic. Can easily get three to four rounds in. The other thing that is great about the battery is how well it holds charge between rounds. I hadn't played in 3 weeks because of an ankle injury and had forgot to plug in the neo the night before. It still had almost a full charge from 3 weeks prior and I was able to get through the round with no problem.
All in all, I couldn't be happier with the neo. It speeds up pace of play and helps maintain a much better rhythm to my rounds allowing me to focus on the shot at hand better. I don't see any reason I would need any more information than what it provides.

strokesaver
I'm not one for reading directions and the neo proved to be easy to use the first time out. I thought I knew how far I hit my irons, this little gadget showed me a thing or two about true yardage. a real strokesaver. Not a lot of extras on this unit, just what you need to cut strokes off your round. The most bang for your buck!!!!

Igolf neo great buy
This is truly the best buy in Golf GPS devices. My golf buddy has the more expensive device (Skycaddy) and we play together. The Neo compares on mosty all accounts and the downloading of courses is much less expensive. Only improvement I would want to see, is a way to hang the Neo on your golf bag. by the way I used next day UPS and it worked like a charm.
