- Fun especially if you have the wii fit board
- I really like this game. The racing is lots of fun or I like just skiing around the mountain. I have the balance board which allows for more realistic skiing. The only thing is that if you use the balance board, you can only play with one player. If you want to race with two players you have to switch to the remotes. Skiing with the remotes is a bit awkward but it is fun to race another player and not just the computer. I am looking forward to more games that use the balance board.

- Fun game with good graphics
- I like to ski and this game only intensifies my desire to get out on the slopes (unfortunately, I only go on ski trips once a year in a big bolus).
The set up of your character allows you to pick various items such as clothing, skis, hat, goggles. Although tedious, it is fun for youngsters.
The interface allows you to play with 2 players using the conventional remote/joystick. Unfortunately, you can only use the Wii Fit Board solo. That is a main limitation of the game. It would be ideal if you could use both the Wii Fit Board and joystick/remote for 2 players. That would add to the realism. Maybe a We Ski 2 is in the making for something to replicate real motions. However, this is still a fun game.
The graphics are very good and augmented with my 50" Plasma, I can stare into the screen and at least, visually, feel like I am going down the terrain.
Different modes such as solo racing, freestyle and racing with friends are various options. The split screen is a nice touch when racing with friends/family.
Tutorials run you through the various maneuvers to get through various obstacles, various tricks and techniques.
Despite its limitations, it is a game that can hook you into playing for several hours and really make you lose track of time. This is a wonderful game for family/friends. With the low price, it is also a very good value. - 2008-10-18, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Meh
- Was OK, but not the greatest. I e-bayed it shortly after getting it.
When actually skiing it was fun, but far too much time was spent trying to get to the hills to do it. I'm looking forward to Shaun White, which looks to be much better. - 2008-10-18, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- WiiSki Disappointment
- I was looking forward to getting WiiSki because it looked like there would be a LOT of different runs and mountains to play on and I would have a chance to use my balance board. Well, the runs grow old after the first time down and really are just sections of other runs in many cases. They are all short. The ski lifts are boring and you just bypass them. The graphics aren't very good. You can play the game with two people but then you don't use the balance board.
Overall, I could have better used my money on a PS3 game that has more to do and much better graphics. - 2008-10-09, 0 of 1 people found this review helpful, Rated:
