- Why would you even consider buying this?
- It's pretty. (My wife bought it at a store without checking Amazon as part of her kitchen remodeling project.) I don't have any problem with the coffee quality. And the automatic shut-off is a nice feature. But it is virtually impossible to use the carafe to fill the water reservoir because: (1) It is difficult to pour water out of the carafe without spilling it under the "best of circumstances" and only if you have lot more time on your hands than I do when I am trying to get off to work in the morning; and (2) the angle at which the carafe must be held while filling the reservoir is not the "best of circumstances." It is almost as difficult to pour coffee into a cup without spilling unless you have the patience of Job. Nobody needs to put up with this. I realize the Amazon reviews for this coffee maker are all over the map. I'm astounded!

- Great little coffee-maker
- Very happy with this coffee maker. I'm the only coffee drinker in the house, and I only have 1 cup a day, so this is perfect for me. Coffee is nice and hot, and the stainless steel carafe is great -- now I won't have to worry about breaking yet another glass carafe.

- Died so young
- This made good coffee while it worked. It's hard to find a good 4 cup coffee maker. But it died after two years of light use and that's inexcusable. My previous cheapo K-Mart coffee maker lasted for almost ten years.

- terrible-leaks all over when pouring
- Worst coffee maker ever had. Looks nice, but leaks whenever pours. Doesn't appear defective, but I'll probably throw it away soon.

- Not as advertised
- I purchased this product because of name and that it was a 4 cup coffee maker and for the "brew pause" feature.
However the "brew pause" feature doesn't work. After numerous problems with coffee dripping on the hot plate when I tried to pour a cup of coffee mid cycle, I went to to product book. It mentions the "brew pause" feature but states "we recommend allowing the brewing cycle to finish before pouring the finished coffee." This is not a "brew pause" feature.
If this is your reason for purchasing the product you will be disappointed as I am. - 2008-10-29, 0 of 1 people found this review helpful, Rated:
