GOLFLOGIX CUSTOMER SERVICE ROCKS!!!
I got the unit for my birthday and it worked really well my first 3 rounds. All the sudden the unit locked up and wouldn't scroll through the holes or turn off at all. I called GolfLogix customer service VERY frustrated. They logged on my computer right away, did some technical mumbo jumbo, and it has worked perfectly ever since. All in five minutes! It's nice to know even though a product can have problems that they care enough to fix it right away!

Garmin GolfLogix
My Garmin GolfLogix is my second gps device for golf. I have owned a SkyCaddie for about two years and after spending over $100 per year on it,decided to try something else. The GolfLogix is easier to use and vastly superior in several ways. Simple to get the courses I want on it; simple to use and accurate. And unlike SkyCaddie ($60), the batteries are cheap. Garmin makes a great product.

Logix is wonderful except for the battery glich
The Garmin GPS is a useful and easy to use tool to help you decide which club to select when playing golf.
I would give them four stars but I am having some trouble with the batteries. The batteries are getting very hot to the touch and running out of juice after three rounds of golf. I contacted GolfLogix by e-mail and did not receive a reply. I telephoned Golflogix and after a ten minute wait I was told there is a slight glich and a fix would be put on line to download the same week. It has been one week and I have not seen the fix on line, nor received a e-mail to tell me about the fix, as was promised by the customer service. I will still recommend this system.

GolfLogix GPS by GARMIN (2008 Model)
Item works great! Easy to download courses to your computer and then transfer to the GPS unit. Unit holds up to 20 courses. Doesn't have pictures of the green like the Sky Caddy and others but all I wanted to know was distances to front, center and back. Unit provides distances to fairway obstacles and clearance for obstacles. Overall price was better than comparable units and the yearly fee of around $30 to obtain access to all US courses also suited me better.
