- Taste good especially to make coffee!!
- I have this filter for more than a year. It works fine and you can feel the taste of water is better after filtered. The taste is especially good with the filtered water to brew coffee. I love it!

- No more Pur filter
- We used Brita and Pur for many years. Pur filters usually last about 3 months and then start leaking. I have been using the AQ-4000 for 6 months now. I am very happy with the filter. Very easy to use, and no leaking problem. No more Pur for me.

- Great tasting water
- My filter is installed under counter with the chrome spiggot. The water quality is excellent and this is the only filter that I could find that claims to remove chlorine - not just chlorine smell and taste. Chlorine removal is important in gout attack prevention.
The plastic case did split - I think due to my not changing the filters soon enough. A new case cost me $25.00.
Another owner had a flooded kitchen when the case broke. This should not happen if it is plumbed correctly as there should be no water pressure on the filter except when drawing water.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. - 2008-09-04, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Cautiously, Nervously Optimistic
- Our plastic fittings burst off and flooded our kitchen last summer. I had to replace the plastic fitting with a brass one and have been so nervous about replacing the filters and having another flood, our water is down to a barely noticeable dribble. Nonetheless, I will buy the replacement filters and hope for the best. The unit looks nice and the water is excellent.

- Good Water, Poor Build quality and design
- The filtered water was very good. However, the plastic parts are not durable and the over all design is poor. Changing the filter and replacing the O rings is shear aggravation. Water will seep from the filter lids, since the O rings want to bind, no matter how much lubricant is applied. The plastic threaded filter lids are not very sturdy and will strip their threads without much effort. Once the filter lids are on, they are a struggle to remove. The frail connection between the Filter Housings is much to easy to break. Avoid this unit. Much to fussy to maintain and poor design.
