LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
I have 5 kids...13, 10, 8, 3, and 1, a truck driver hubby and a VERY HAIRY dog...this is by far THE best cleaner I've had for mud prints, juice spills and even spaghetti sauce on the carpet! Light weight, easy to use and even easier to store! I would definitely recommend!

Little Bissell does a good job
I own an upright Bissell that I would not recommend but this one does a great job cleaning up those little doggie accidents that seem to occur on occasion and me being a slob. It did a great job on both doggie stuff and a glass of red wine. I would certainly recommend.

Exactly what I needed
I purchased this machine to clean the occasional mess from my 2 ferrets. I brought the machine home assembled it which took only a few minutes, mixed the solution and began cleaning the existing spots. This worked better than I expected. With very little scrubbing the spots were gone. Later in the evening some water was spilt on one of our kitchen chairs and I pulled out the machine to see if I could get some water out, and in this application it worked great as well. This machine also has a very long power cord which makes it that much easier to use. Overall I am very pleased with this product so far.

Not so happy
I, like many other reviews I've read, bought this machine to help with the occasional pet stain. I was very pleased that it was easy to assemble and seemed easy enough to use. Unfortunately, when I started the machine up and began working on the spot, I noticed the machine was leaking from the bottom all over my floor. I was completely disappointed because I feel if it wasn't for the leak, it probably would have been a good purchase. I believe mine was defective and am in the process of returning it. I will probably try this product again.

So far so good...
Yes, the product is ready to go once you get it out of the packaging, little assembly that is required is not actually necessary for cleaning, it's just a couple of storage clips.
So far I have cleaned just the living room rug and it does look great, however here are my concerns:
1. The instructions are not very clear on operating the cleaning brush. It makes it sound like there is no need to press the solution release button while scrubbing with the brush. However, you do need to do that to get enough water/solution into the rug to clean it and suck it back up. I made the mistake of just spraying water/solution to pretreat, and using the brush "dry", and kept wondering why my "dirty" tank was empty and clean.
2. Unfortunately, the hot tap water you put into "clean" tank doesn't stay very hot, if one needs to clean the entire rug. I understand that this is more of a spot cleaner vs. a full carpet cleaner, but I was hoping to get two in one. After reading the reviews for Bissell's heated Little Green (a lot of bad ones), I don't think I would exchange this one for it.
3. The "dirty" tank is a little hard to clean, I don't think they really were thinking about the cleaning task when designing this tank, so many parts, and there are openings on the opposite end of the tank, so no way to fill and slosh.
Overall, it got the job done, so I am still giving it 4 stars, but I am waiting to see it perform in newly purchased used RV... We'll see.
