- Great for travel or home/office
- Bought this primarily for the multiple outlets & surge protection, and the size is nicely compact for that. Bonus features are the USB ports for charging, which means device chargers can stay home (as long as you have a cable), and the swivel plug. Very happy with this!

- Not acceptable as a travel charger

Belkin has missed the mark with this adaptor.
It simply is not "mini." At least, it is not mini as compared to other three outlet grounding adaptors. It is 4x the size and 4 the weight of a typical cheap (i.e. $3) three outlet grounded adaptor. This means that it cannot easily be dropped into a bag; you have to make room for it.
While it is surely is smaller than most surge suppressors, buyers only need something this small when traveling, and this is so much bigger than what it might replace that it is not likely to be brought along for the trip.
Belkin -- a company whose products I generally like -- clearly decided to make solid and sturdy product. The plastic is thick and strong. I have no doubt that the thing could even hold my weight, where I stand on it or even jump on it. But the trade off there is bulk, both in size and weight.
This is unfortunate because the product is a great idea. Between phones, MP3 players, bluetooth headsets and BlackBerries, there is quite a need for USB charging, especially on the road. Power outlets are usually in short supply in hotels and airports, so carrying this kind of device would be a good idea, if only it was easier to carry and forget about until needed. - 2008-08-05, 2 of 3 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- A bit large but not too heavy-great piece of mind
- A bit large but not too heavy-great piece of mind. It does take up space in a laptop bag but after looking at it for awhile decided that for what it offers it couldn't be made smaller without sacrificing the extras it comes with. The standout feature is the rotating plug. Push a release button under the plug and turn the it so the device fits how you want it too. This feature allows the use of USB sockets without the sockets being blocked by another plug. Price was right too. Very pleased overall. Would by again.

- Handy Dandy!
- This is a neat little accessory for traveling. Some have complained about the size but that is not a fair complaint! The thing had three outlets and could not have been made any smaller. The plug in swivels around completely which is really nice. I have had these that the weight of the cords would pull it out of the wall but not this one. Being able to recharge usb devices without turning on the computer is also a great addition.
Great purchase! - 2008-06-30, 0 of 0 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- USB Hub and charging station
- I use this item to keep two PS3 controllers charged while not being used. The unit is very sturdy and should last as long or longer then the Playstation 3. Highly recommended.
