- Great Buying Experience
- This television just arrived this morning and I have much to learn about it, but I wanted to write about the great buying experience I had at Amazon. Ordered the television on a Friday -- because it was over 40" we received free White Glove shipping and it arrived on Monday! The delivery person brought the tv into the house, unpacked it and set it up. When I went online a little while later I saw that the price for this tv had dropped so I emailed and called Amazon and in a few hours received written email confirmation that the charge would be adjusted on my credit card. I was very pleasantly surprised and am very pleased with this entire experience so far.

- Very Pleaased
- We are very pleased with the Sony Bravia TV. The picture quality is great! I would recommend this TV to everyone. Just keep the remote away from German Shepherd's, ours ate the remote!

- One complain ...
- I purchased this TV and the price was good and the delivery was good too. The picture is clear. One complain I have is that it takes like 20 seconds to view the screen after I press the power button. I don't know if it is because i do not have HD transmission but I doubt it because I have a 32" Sharp Aquos and it takes just five seconds to display something on the screen. I may have to check with the Sony website.
In general i am satisfied but i dont think it should take 20 seconds to display something on the screen. - 2008-08-30, 9 of 14 people found this review helpful, Rated:
- Good Time Charlie
- Good while it lasted. Purchased the unit new from Amazon and received it on Jun 1, 2008. After almost 3 months of problem free service the unit completely lost the picture. Unit will power on but no picture. After troubleshooting with SONY had the option of exchanging with refurb unit or have local service repair it. Took the path of the local Sony Authorized service thinking this would be the least hassle. A week latter after the service company picked up the unit I still have no status on the repair only it has been assigned to a service tech and if parts are required another 5-8 days.
All this would have to happen during the Olympic! Not too excited about the Sony brand at this time. - 2008-08-22, 13 of 17 people found this review helpful, Rated:
