- Great Laptop
- Bought this computer 3 months ago because I wanted XP Pro instead of Vista. It handles everything quickly, including Photoshop files. I did upgrade the ram from 1 MB to 3 MB and now see very little difference between the Toshiba and my powerful desktop.

- If you're reading this review right now, then chances are you want to make sure you are making the right choice.
Let me assure you, if you're planning on purchasing a Toshiba laptop, you are not.
Please, google "toshiba laptop complaints" and get the REAL reviews.
As for my input...
this is a conversation that took place in an authorized toshiba shipping store:
me: "Man, let me tell you something... NEVER buy a Toshiba laptop."
clerk: "With the ammount of them that we ship back every month, I never would."
..just in case you were wondering how many laptops this authorized postal service receives from customer and ships out for repair every month - "..about 30" is the answer that I got

- This is a pretty powerful computer, but be aware that it doesn't come with Mircosoft Office. It only has a trial version installed.

- Good computer not so great seller
- The Toshiba is a very solid fast laptop. I needed it for various business travel. Previously, I had a HP dv 2000 which was a total waste of money and broke down after one year. So- I certaintly did a fair amount of research when it came to purchasing a new laptop. The screen is amazing and so is the sound quality.
The seller Beach Camera listed the price as $732.00 one day and $698.00 the following day. Beach Camera or Amazon would not give back the difference.
