Frost EP: Sent To Destroy

Average Customer Rating: Recommend

The auditory assault tactician known as Combichrist has spent over five years perfecting his blend of relentless beats, uncompromising vocals, and acidic melodies. This EP, a precursor to his fourth full-length, features three new tracks and six remixes. Packs more punch than all of the UFC fighters combined. "Frost EP" proves once again that Combichrist is an unstoppable force in a league of his own.

Combi as it should be
If you're a fan of Combichrist they you'll be pleased to hear they are up to the same thing with a killing bass and a hard beat. Sent to Destroy is a heavy track, while Prince of E-Ville is hilarious. Its a good balance for a band that's been quiet for too long.
Its the perfect addition to any fans collection and for those who haven't experienced Combi yet, why not have a taste. The remixes are just as good as the originals. All in all worth the money.

Can't wait for the album
Sent to Destroy is great fun, as are its remixes. I especially enjoyed the unmixed version and suicide commando mix.
The Kill is great as an instrumental track, though at times it seems a little lacking. Assuming the album version of it has vox, that could be fixed.
Prince of E-Ville isn't overwhelming, but the Caustic mix of isn't bad.
If you liked any of Combichrist's other works, you'll enjoy this, and the remixes are certainly worth the extra couple dollars. If you're new to combichrist, then stop reading my review and go to youtube or something.
