Do your homework first!: These knives are fine for what they are: a good deal on a set of very sharp steak knives with the Wusthof name. However, having gotten accustomed to the Wusthof "Classic" series in our kitchen, these "Gourmet" series knives felt oddly light and plasticky. Really Wusthof?: The nicest part of this set was the box. I was unimpressed with the knives - light handles and flimsy blades. They have a very cheap feel to them, and left me wondering if these were really Wusthof. If so, they are certainly a price-point set. There is no way anyone would pay the list price for these.
