Temperature reading is always wrong
I love the changing color idea, and the nightlight and digital display look great. However, the temperature is never accurate! It always 76 or 77, even when the room is chilly. Total waste of money. Rely on yourself to determine if it is too hot or too cold... or get a more accurate thermometer. The Grobag Egg is probably off by 3-5 degrees in either direction.

Look at the UK Reviews!!
For anyone considering purchasing this product, you may want to take a look at the (many) UK reviews: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Grobag-Egg/dp/B000DZF1WE
I'd wait for the second version before purchasing. It's a lovely idea, users report the egg is very off in reporting the correct temp.

Cute but not accurate.
I thought it would be cute putting this is the nursery to check the temperature, but its not accurate. Its off by 3 degree, meaning instead of changing color it will always stay the same color.

Great Baby Gift Idea
I received this as a baby gift and think it's great! I like the fact that we have a thermometer in the room and the night light that changes color is a pretty cool feature. The only negative thing we've found is that we don't agree with the "legend" of what they say is normal verses too hot. If we agreed with them, the baby's room would be way to uncomfortable. But it really doesn't matter or affect the product, as long as parents are smart enough to decide for themselves if the room is too hot or not. This is a great deal too, as I've seen specialty stores and boutiques sell this product for as much as $70.00! This nifty little egg makes a great gift at a great price!
