Sony Movie Studio 9 works well: I use a Canon HG10 which only records in HD using the AVCHD standard. The SW that came doesn't come close to allowing you to do much editing/DVD making. With this camera it is easy to copy the video files from HG10 to my computers HD then I begin using the editing tool.

Good but not great.: I have used Vegas for sometime now. We recently bought an HD camera, so I decided to buy Vegas Platinum Pro 9.0, because it says it can burn Blu-Ray discs. A great inexpensive way to create professional quality videos & presentations: Product does a great job of allowing you to edit and create. Does require some practice, since it does so much.
