2008 collaboration between Chambers, the beloved Australian singer/songwriter and her husband Shane Nicholson. Drawing on both their songwriting talents and unique voices, Rattlin' Bones heralds a return to the Alternative Country roots that first launched Kasey's stellar career. This is Chambers and Nicholson writing and performing heartfelt songs that speak with an undeniable honesty. Whilst giving a sizeable nod to Chambers' Country Music upbringings, Rattlin' Bones equally secures Nicholson's natural fit on the rootsy highway. 14 tracks. EMI. 2008.

- Great CD!
- My husband and I recently subscribed to satellite radio and discovered Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson. Rattlin'Bones is a super CD. We highly recommend it to those who are looking for a fresh sound; not like all the other "country" singers you hear on the radio these days. From the first listen you will be hooked! More reviews
- Back on Track
- When Kasey came out with "The Captain" I marveled at her songwriting and voice. When her next two albums veered off onto a more pop star sound, I thought she was one and done. But she returns to her folky/bluegrass/country roots on this CD and the addition of a male voice adds a great dimension. I just bought this CD, Emmy More reviews
- loved them
- I loved this album. It is the first I had heard of them and I hope to hear more. Lots of energy and good harmony and good song writing. More reviews
- Kasey's Rattlin' Bones
- Good strong vocals from both Kasey and Shane. A bit heavy on the religion, but that's their thing. Also some redundancy of words in the lyrics -- wires figure in at least 2 songs, gold in two songs, and of course the requisite devil appearances. Other than that, the harmonies are tight and the songs get stuck in your head for More reviews
