One of the best Christmas albums in a while.: This is seriously one of the best Christmas albums that I have heard in a while. It is more low tempo than much of the previous music by Casting Crowns, so I think it may even appeal to some people who are not fans of their other music. Great Album!: I was worried that this was going to be Casting Crowns slightly odd take on traditional Christmas music but I was dead wrong. Many of the songs are in the style of Casting Crowns regular music and are really great songs. Mixed in with that are traditional songs done in upbeat but traditional ways. Not only for Christmas....but all year long: As soon as this CD was released, we purchased it..we love Casting Crowns.
We have not been disappointed!!! The CD is wonderful! Yes.. a lot of traditional Christmas carols, but with 'new' words to some and. The arrangements are different and fresh...the harmonies are absolutely beautiful, and the voices are clear and pure.
