- Awesome TV
- Bought the tv about 2 weeks ago. So far it has been great. the picture is very pefect..need to play around with the menu for a bit. I did a lot of research before buying this product and saw a number of reviews saying they had issues with glare. so far i have not faced any such problem.
Had some trouble connecting my pc to the computer though. One piece of advice use HDMI1 when using a HDMI connector to connect ur pc. its stated in the fine print of the manual but hard to find.

- My first HDTV 4 yrs ago was a sony 50" lcd rear projection set. It has a really great picture, great sound, but a big ugly enclosure and the well known problem of very limited view angle. I love it as long as I'm right in front of it.
My new Samsung is a very different experience. I can tell I'm going to have a lot of experimenting to do in order to get the picture settings for it to look right to me, but the good news is that this new Samsung set offers about every setting control you can imagine. Out of the box it is much more vivid, bright, and contrasty than my other set, so I will need some time with it. So far I'm very pleased, but I have managed to get the settings hopelessly out of whack a few times and ended up with a sad looking picture - thank goodness for the "default reset" button!
The built-in sound on the Samsung is disappointing compared to my old sony, but it's not a big deal to me since I will use it as part of a home theater setup and the sound will usually be through my 6.1 surround system. I do like it that you don't have to shut off the internal set speakers in order to use the outputs to the 6.1 system. I like the stylish gloss finish on the cabinet, and the screen is not too reflective as others have complained. Just don't face it right at a bright window and then sit with your back to the window. I have it in a very bright western facing room at 90 degrees to the window and it looks great.
delivery service (CEVA) sucks. they got it here on time, but the driver didn't speak much english and was gone before I could even get the box open. No damage though.

- I researched 52" LCD HDTV's for three months, and I know the Samsung is not the most expensive, but this TV has no flaws. It arrived in time for the NCAA Final Four, and the live action is spectacular. When you go to Best Buy or Circuit City, they are always trying to upsell you to a more innovative product that you do not need. They may be right, but I can't see it. This TV is everything you need or should want. Do yourself a favor and pull the trigger. Buy the '07 model and save yourself some coin, or use what you save and get a blu-ray player.

- I was looking for a 52" LCD for some time and finialy pulled the trigger on this one. It is GREAT - BIG picture, good sound and if you looking for HD you will get it with this set. fast delivery and they help set it up. I would recomend to anyone..
