- Have been searching for a 52inch LCD TV. Did my research for a month comparing TVs and reading reviews from other buyers. Black level and its clarity of this LCD TV was top notch. With Amazon's low price I had to buy this. Got the TV in 5days with no dead pixel. At first I was kind of worried about the white glove shipping service but my experience was superb! 5stars for a perfect TV!

- Awesome TV
- I love this TV. This is the second Samsung that I have purchased and I just get happier w/each product. Considering the shipping was free when I purchased the TV, I really can't complain. It still only took a little over 1 week, so that's not bad for the price. This 71 series Samsung was cheaper than the 61 series I saw at my local Best Buy; I'll definitely purchase from Amazon again and in fact I will probably always look here for a TV when I need one. Even my standard definition channels look better on this newer model. I can't say enough. My HD programs and HD dvds look great and my xbox 360 games look unbelievable as well.

- I sure was unlucky
- I was really excited to buy this TV as it had all the specs I was looking for. The picture quality was great but the upconversion from the Oppo 80 did not play well at 1080p (60hz). The 1080i played well. Most disappointing, however, was the fact that after 10 days I noticed a spot on the screen which seemed like a dead pixel. I was hoping that it was something else, but it was not. The "contamination" started spreading and I now have a full vertical line of dead pixel across the the screen. I have already informed Amazon that I would be returning the unit. After some initial hesitation, they agreed. I think I just got a bad piece. Has anyone else had this problem?

- great set/ be sure you purchase a DVIto HDMI cable when you buy the TV
