- AWSOME!
- I bought this product in december and was waiting patiently for it to arrive. When I got it, the packaging was kinda damaged but it most likely happened in transit and the tool was fine so no problem! Its quite stiff in its movements but Im sure it'll loosen up as i use it. The knife is very sharp and the finish is awsome. The carbon fiber is a nice touch and it is EXTREMELY light. Its actually lighter than my cell phone. Great product and definitely worth the wait. For 80 bucks, you cant beat the craftsmanship and quality of the skeletool cx.

- bit driver broken on arrival
- There is nothing more disappointing than waiting 4 months to receive a defective product. Now I get to wait for warranty exchange to get around to replacing my skeletool cx.
The tool (while I had it) felt light yet durable and was hardly noticeable clipped inside my pocket. It's movement was a little stiff, but that is common with a new leatherman. I am sure that over time it's movement would become more fluid. The tungsten finish looked awesome. I expected the carabiner to feel flimsy, and was surprised at how solid it actually felt.
When it came to the bit-driver, I couldn't have been more disappointed. The mechanism designed to keep the bit secure and in place was totally defective, making it impossible to keep the bit attached to the tool.

- Just Right
- I love it! It has taken a while to get it but definitely worth it. Much better than carrying around a bigger bulkier multi tool reserved for heavier work. I have used it so far to remove a couple nails out of the wall and cut some plastic with the very sharp blade. It fits nicely in my front pocket and isnt to combursome. The fit and finish is excellent. Although it is a bit stiff at first, this will work itself out the more you use it. I will apply a couple of drops of lube to help it. Love the whole carbon fiber look. I hope this review helps out because I have been waiting for more reviews on the CX untill I finally got mine. You wont be disapointed. Too bad the price has significantly gone up on this great tool. Just dont forget its in your pocket because it is so light!

- worth the wait
- I ordered this item in November when I first heard about it and have been waiting on it for 4 months. The only thing I have to say is "It was worth the wait!" The design is amazing and everything works great. Once again Leatherman has created a great product that iw proudly made in the USA.
The light weight makes it easy to carry in the pocket without being too bulky. The location of the bit driver makes it convenient to use but is hidden when the tool is folded. - Amazing combination of size and weight!
- I first saw articles about the new Skeletool CX well before Christmas. It looked to be exactly what I needed. A good knife, a convenient screwdriver, a pair of pliers, and most importantly, a tungsten coated bottle opener.
Now that I finally received it some four months later, I can say that it is truly amazing. It is not too small nor too large, and the weight is pretty amazing considering how much some of the other multitools weigh. I hardly notice it in my pocket.
